Mr. Jerry Hyatt, 69, of Kuttawa, KY died Monday, July 8, 2013 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah following a short illness. He was a retired chemical operator at Ashland, a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, and was a Kentucky Colonel. Survivors include one son, Jeremy Hyatt, Kuttawa, KY; one brother, Arnold Hyatt, Kuttawa, KY; one sister, Deborah Dodson, Greenville, KY; and six nieces. He was prceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Barnard Hyatt; parents, Eugene and Hopie Zollinger Hyatt; two brothers, Joseph Hyatt, Michael Glenn Hyatt; two sisters, Marilyn Herndon, Carolyn Sue Hyatt; and one nephew, Michaael Shane Hyatt. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery in Lyon County.
