Jeri Stewart, 72 passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016 from a two vehicle accident. She was a retired administrative secretary to the warden for the Kentucky State Department of Corrections and a member of Cedar Bluff Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Carolina Stewart and Geri Lynn Beavers both of Princeton, KY, one son, Gary Stewart, Princeton, KY, three sisters: June Wike, Morganton, NC, Wanda Waldroop, Franklin, NC, Kathy Kari, Asheville, NC, two brothers, John McDowell, Franklin, NC and Bob McDowell, Franklin, NC, six grandchildren: Beau Beckner, Teddy Brent Beckner, Carissa Beavers, Elizabeth Stewart, Olivia Floyd and Bailey Leavell and one great granddaughter, Hadlee Floyd. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Ruth Tyler McDowell, son, Randy Stewart and grandson, Cody Brent Stewart Faughn. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until funeral time Thursday at Morgan's Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday 1:00 PM at Morgan's with Rev. Mark Faughn officiating. Burial will follow in the Millwood cemetery.
