Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Military Rites. Visitation: Will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday February 4, at the funeral home. Don Hudson age 66 of Princeton, died Monday February 1, at his home following a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Rita Roos Hudson of Princeton, KY; four sons, Donald Christopher Hudson of Keiser, AR, Robert James Hudson and wife Maria of Provo, UT, Brian Ray Hudson of Provo, UT and Andrew Thomas Hudson and wife Katia of Provo, UT; two daughters, Rebecca Josephine Burton of Fredonia, KY and Allison Rae Loesevitz & husband, Thomas of Lexington, KY; five grandchildren, Mary Hudson, Joseph Hudson, Liam Burton, Megan Burton and Emma Hudson; two brothers, Bob Hudson of Searcy, AR and James Hudson of Foristell, MO; two sisters, Yvonne Berry of Searcy, AR and Judy Wolverton of Chattanooga, TN; eleven brother-in-laws; six sister-in-laws; twenty one nieces; twenty nine nephews; and Many Beloved Friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Jettie Gay Hudson; two brothers, Otis and Leroy Hudson; three sisters Laverne Hudson, Evelyn Lowerins and Wanda Weedman. Don Hudson was a Member of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He went to Victoria Grade School and Luxora High School in Arkansas where he was an All American football player and star basketball player. He served honorably in the Vietnam War for six years in the US Navy. Don and his family moved to Princeton in 1993 where he managed Piggly Wiggly, U-Save Grocery and Monumental Life Insurance.
