Debra Dean Clayton of Hopkinsville, formerly of Princeton, died Sunday September 17 at her residence after a two year battle with cancer. She is survived by her parents, Fred and Dean Beard Clayton of Hopkinsville; one brother, Craig Clayton and his wife, Anita of Franklin TN; one sister, Carol Clayton Birdsong and her husband David of Brentwood TN; one niece, Lauren Clayton Lester and her husband Micah of Gracey KY; four nephews, Louis Clayton of Lexington KY, Matthew, Carson and Ross Birdsong of Brentwood TN; one great niece, Ella Ross Lester of Gracey KY; and many friends. Debra Dean Clayton was a 1970 Graduate of Caldwell County High School and attended Western Kentucky University where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Soroity and also attended Dallas Fashion Merchandising College in Dallas TX.
