  Jody Anderson
Owner & Funeral Director


Jody Anderson is owner of the Anderson Funeral Homes. He was raised in the Clinton, IA area graduating from Clinton High School in 1988. After high school Jody joined the United States Army and is a Desert Storm Veteran. Jody attended Clinton Community College, Sauk Valley Community College, and graduated from Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg, IL with a degree in Mortuary Science. Jody, his wife, Amy,and their two daughters, Lauren and Sydney reside in the Conrad Chapel. Jody is very active in the three communities he serves. He is a member of the Conrad Presbyterian Church, Marshalltown Young Professionals, Marshalltown Community Y, Oakwood Golf Course in Conrad, and the Conrad American Legion serving as a Vice President. Jody also serves on the board for the Conrad Parks and Recreation. He and his family has assisted with the festival of trees in Gladbook and host several people at the Gladbrook Chapel for Gladbrooks Corn Carnival Parade. He enjoys cycling and is a RAGBRAI veteran. Most recently Jody has picked up running and finished his first marathon in October of 2012. In his spare time you can find him on a bleacher taking in one of his daughters many sporting events.
  Amy Anderson
Office Manager


Amy serves as the Office Manager for all four of the Anderson Funeral Homes locations. She is a graduate of Clinton Community College. Prior to joining her husband in the funeral business she was a licensed Pharmacy Technician for 17 years and most recently was the director of the Wolf Creek Day Care. Since moving to Iowa in 2009 she has assisted the funeral homes in many aspects. Amy is excited to enter the funeral business with her husband and looks forward to serving the people of this area. Amy also manages all of her kids sporting and school activities. Therefore you can find her in her spare time on a bleacher watching her children. Recently Amy and Jody have purchased a tandem bicycle and enjoy riding it. Amy made her maiden voyage across the great state of Iowa on RAGBRAI 2012.
  Richard A. "Rick" LaMasters
Funeral Director


Richard A. "Rick" LaMasters was born and raised in Marshalltown, graduating from Marshalltown High School in 1966. Rick attended Marshalltown Community College and graduated from the Indiana College of Mortuary Science in 1971. Prior to attending mortuary school, he was employed at Estel-Perrin-Avey Funeral Home. He later worked in funeral service in Iowa City and Waterloo before returning to Estel-Perrin-Avey in 1987. Rick then transitioned over to Vogel Funeral Homes when they purchased Estel Perrin Avey. Rick has been an asset to the funeral homes he has served. Anderson Funeral Homes is excited to have him join them for the remainder of his career. Rick most recently was recognized by the Iowa Funeral Directors Association for having his license for 40 years. Rick and his wife, Cindi, have two children and five grandchildren. In his spare time Rick enjoys fishing and traveling.
  Mary (Prusha) Mauk
Advanced Planning Specialist
& New Life Care Coordinator

Mary (Prusha) Mauk is a Marshalltown native,and a 1975 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a BA Degree in Marketing. Mary received her Life Insurance License in May of 2010. Mary is a Licensed Advance Planning Specialist and New Life Care Coordinator for Anderson Funeral Homes. She is married to Mark Mauk, who is employed at Emerson Process Management. Mary has two daughters; Katie (Andrew) Mott, of Ames, and Sarah (David) Winkler of Omaha, NE, and 1 grandaughter, Carolyn Mott. Mary has been involved with several organizations in Marshalltown, including Rotary Club Board Member, Marshalltown Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador and United Way Co-Chair. She is a member of St. Henry Catholic Church and currently an Iowa River Hospice Volunteer.
